- Proposals must be related to the topics of the conference.
- A person can appear as an author in a maxium of two submissions.
- Only those who have registered will receive the certificate of participation and the dvd with all full papers.
- Each submission will have a maxium of three authors, of whom, at least two will have to be registered when the conference takes place.
- Submissions must be unpublished, either in the assessment process for any scientific journal, and must omit any identification of the author/s to ensure a proper evaluation process and objective one.
- Submissions can be empirical studies, theoretical reflections, historical studies or descriptions of innovative educational experiences.
- The abstracts must include: title (in bold words, capitals and using Times New Roman, 12pt, single spaced and in A4); text (maximum 200 words using Times New Roman, 12pt, single spaced); and key words (maximum 6 words separated by semicolons).
- The abstracts should be written in Spanish or Catalan language and English language (two languages).
- Abstracts should be sent as attachments in .odt (if you work with text processors such as LibreOffice) or in .doc (Microsoft Word). Please, do not send documents in .docx format.
- The abstracts will be reviewed as they are received, and the Scientific Committee’s decisions will be communicated to the authors as soon as they are received at the Secretary.

- Papers can be written in English, Spanish and Catalan language.
- The papers must be unpublished, either in the assessment process for any scientific journal, and must omit any identification of the author/s to ensure a proper evaluation process and objective one.
- Papers can be empirical studies, theoretical reflections, historical studies or descriptions of innovative educational experiences.
- Papers should be sent as attachments in .odt (if you work with text processors such as LibreOffice) or in .doc (Microsoft Word). Please, do not send documents in .docx format.
- Papers should be between 10 and 20 sheets (not including the summary in Spanish, Catalan and English, which will be as the first and second pages, respectively), using Times New Roman 12pt, middle spaced, 2cm margins on all four sides of A4 page. The different sections of the paper should be numbered and in bold, using italics for subheadings. Inside the text, must not use bold or underlined words.
- Footnotes shall not be longer than 7 lines, and will be in Times New Roman 10 pt, justified.
- References will follow the APA format.
- All accepted papers will be published in a dvd and on this website with an ISBN.
- The best papers, according to the decision of the Scientific Committee, will be published in a special monograph in January 2012 in the journal Teoría de la Educación. Educación y Cultura en la Sociedad de la Información. All others will be posted on the conference website.
- In both cases, papers will be published in pdf format with a License Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No derivatives.

- All submissions will be included in the conference in Slideshare, with the same Creative Commons license like the papers. We recommend take a look the examples of presentations at the website in order to see different types of animations, etc.
- In addition to these slideshows, and with the aim to take advantage of the full potential of the platform multimedia, participants are invited to be recorded on video tape explaining the slides, so that their performance will be much more attractive and clear for the others participants. Instructions on how to use YouTube to record themselves explaining the presentation and how to send the video code through the web form can be found in this pdf (960KB).
